The Solis Flush Story
In creating Solis, designer Carmine Deganello set out to engage with light in its archetypal form: the sun’s rays. The resulting piece is a poetic interplay of light and shadow, casting shimmering rays and radiating patterns across a space. The effect is a sense of weightlessness—and a redefined environment that invites a new kind of relationship with the light source. Now reimagined for ceiling application, Solis Flush transforms the signature elegance of the original into a more integrated, architectural presence. Its laser-cut polyester shade, suspended in tension between 2 polished steel rings, now merges seamlessly with the ceiling plane —casting both direct and diffused light that brings warmth, texture, and sculptural presence to the space below.

Solis Reimagined
One With the ArchitectureEngineered for ceiling integration, Solis Flush retains the original’s iconic shade—a perforated polyester membrane tensioned within a dual-ring system. The fixture delivers balanced illumination through radial apertures while visually merging with the ceiling plane for a seamless architectural expression.
Light and ShadowAt the heart of Solis is a meticulously laser-cut polyester shade; its precise pattern filters light into elegant, sunburst-like rays, casting both direct and ambient glow that radiates warmth and quiet drama throughout the space.
Poetry In NumbersArranged in series, Solis brings visual rhythm to life, anchoring itself to the architectural plane while shaping pathways, defining sightlines, and elevating the atmosphere with sculptural grace.
