Pantaya uses Webbing suspension with integrated power and can be adjusted to direct the illumination.

Integrated LED

Integrated LED technology is embedded inside the chassis, allowing illumination to filter through the knit, softened, diffused, and evenly dispersed across the form.

3D Knit Technology

Our Fabric covers are knitted in one piece through a cutting edge automated knitting process and are available in four finishes.

Lightweight Aluminum Chassis

Pantaya’s precision-engineered aluminum chassis provides the structural foundation beneath its seamless knit cover. The lightweight frame integrates the lighting and electrical components while allowing the textile exterior to define the fixture’s soft, continuous form.

Disegnata da Patricia Urquiola in collaborazione con Pablo Designs e Haworth, Pantaya trae ispirazione dalle strutture delle tende ad alte prestazioni e dall’abbigliamento sportivo. Una rete tridimensionale a maglia, realizzata in un unico pezzo e composta al 100% da poliestere riciclato, si tende su un telaio in alluminio, creando una calotta luminosa dall’aspetto architettonico e al contempo leggero. La rete nasconde la struttura e diffonde delicatamente la luce dell’array LED integrato, completamente dimmerabile. Le cinghie in poliestere consentono di appendere Pantaya in orizzontale o leggermente inclinata, per un’illuminazione direzionale. Disponibile nei colori Roest, Sand, Olive e Graphite, nelle versioni a sospensione e da parete.

Patricia Urquiola

Patricia Urquiola is an acclaimed architect and designer, and has served as Art Director of Cassina since 2015. After studying in Madrid and graduating from the Politecnico di Milano under Achille Castiglioni, she founded her Milan-based studio in 2001, focusing on product design, architecture, and consulting. Known for blending advanced technology with warmth, tactility, and material innovation, Urquiola’s work has earned international recognition and is featured in collections including Museum of Modern Art and Triennale Milano.
