Lightweight Tensile Structure

Solis’s precision laser-cut polyester shade is held in tension between two polished chrome rings, creating a lightweight yet structured form. Its intricate pattern filters light into soft rays, delivering a balanced combination of direct and indirect illumination.

High-output LED Array

Solis Drum’s high-output LED diffuser delivers powerful, evenly distributed illumination across its expansive form. Producing 2,500 lumens in the 24" model and 5,600 lumens in the 36" model, it offers generous light output for a wide range of spaces.

La nouvelle suspension Solis Drum est le dernier ajout à l'élégante famille de luminaires Solis. Mettant en vedette un mélange captivant et unique d'ombre et de lumière, Solis Drum est fabriquée en tissu polyester découpé au laser, combiné à une structure d'anneaux en aluminium en haut et en bas qui permet à l'abat-jour de rester sous tension. Solis Drum utilise également un superbe diffuseur dôme LED qui s'étend sur le diamètre de l'anneau supérieur, rayonnant la lumière vers le bas et sur les côtés pour projeter des motifs chaleureux et scintillants dans l'espace environnant. L'effet procure une sensation de légèreté qui invite à une nouvelle forme de relation avec la source lumineuse. Parfait au-dessus d'une table à manger, dans une entrée ou en grands regroupements.

Carmine Deganello

Carmine Deganello is a product and architectural designer based in Amsterdam and Milan. His experimental approach begins with material research, revealing unexpected possibilities in form and production. A graduate of Florence’s Istituto Superiore per le Industrie Artistiche, his long-term collaboration with Pablo Designs include Solis, Talia and the T.O collection, reflecting a shared sensitivity to materials and light. His work has been presented at the Triennale Design Museum in Milan and the MAK Museum in Vienna.
