En créant Solis, le designer Carmine Deganello a cherché à explorer la lumière sous sa forme archétypale : les rayons du soleil. L'objet qui en résulte est un mélange captivant de lumière et d'ombres, projetant des rayons scintillants et des motifs rayonnants dans l'espace. L'effet produit est une sensation d'apesanteur, ainsi qu'un environnement redéfini qui invite à une nouvelle forme de relation avec la source lumineuse. Suspension fabriquée en tissu polyester léger et en acier inoxydable, Solis peut être utilisée comme plafonnier, fixée au mur ou servir de luminaire portable autonome.

Carmine Deganello

Carmine Deganello is a product and architectural designer based in Amsterdam and Milan. His experimental approach begins with material research, revealing unexpected possibilities in form and production. A graduate of Florence’s Istituto Superiore per le Industrie Artistiche, his long-term collaboration with Pablo Designs include Solis, Talia and the T.O collection, reflecting a shared sensitivity to materials and light. His work has been presented at the Triennale Design Museum in Milan and the MAK Museum in Vienna.
