Bel Occhio es un estudio sobre la ingravidez y la transparencia”, señala el diseñador Pablo Pardo sobre su inspiración para esta luminaria. “Evoca la luz transformadora de la naturaleza”. Su pieza manifiesta lo celestial a través de un diseño híbrido: su columna interior suspendida crea una iluminación focalizada, mientras que su cubierta circundante produce un resplandor ambiental transformador. Estos elementos simbióticos permiten que Bel Occhio actúe como un foco multiposición y como una fuente de carácter atmosférico. También cumplen propósitos dinámicos: Bel Occhio está construida como una lámpara de mesa infinitamente ajustable y como un modelo colgante. Ambos elementos sirven para iluminar con confort y fascinar la imaginación.

Pablo Pardo

Pablo Pardo is a Venezuelan-born industrial designer and founder of Pablo Designs, established in San Francisco in 1993. A 1986 graduate of the University of Cincinnati, his early work included product and automotive design for 3M, IDEO, Toylab and Chrysler. His lighting blends technical innovation with simplicity, tactility and warmth, creating objects that feel natural to use and reflect a commitment to permanence. His work has earned international awards, and Piccola is held in SFMOMA’s permanent collection.
