Un estudio sobre el reduccionismo; Lim no es tanto una lámpara como un conducto de luz. Su forma minimalista moldea un plano de iluminación alimentado por una fuente de luz igualmente minimalista: una matriz continua de LED de alto rendimiento y bajo consumo discretamente ocultos en su brazo. Además de un brazo delgado y giratorio que permite al usuario redirigir la luz, Lim emplea un sistema de fijación magnética que la hace fácil de transportar y ajustar. Lim está disponible en hasta cinco factores de forma diferentes, lo que permite su uso en mesas, suelos y montajes bajo superficies.

Pablo Pardo

Pablo Pardo is a Venezuelan-born industrial designer and founder of Pablo Designs, established in San Francisco in 1993. A 1986 graduate of the University of Cincinnati, his early work included product and automotive design for 3M, IDEO, Toylab and Chrysler. His lighting blends technical innovation with simplicity, tactility and warmth, creating objects that feel natural to use and reflect a commitment to permanence. His work has earned international awards, and Piccola is held in SFMOMA’s permanent collection.
